    1. What is your franchise fee?
     $10,000.00
    2. How much does it cost to open a CAPT. SHRIMP restaurant?
    It depends on a variety of factors such as location, equipment and type of store, but is typically $50,000 - $360,000; not inclusive of land, which may be purchased or leased. 
    3. What are the minimum financial requirements to become a  CAPT. SHRIMP Franchisee?
     A minimum net worth of $175,000 with at least $60,000 liquid assets and good credit ratings. Potential franchisees must be able to obtain financing for the cost of opening a CAPT. SHRIMP. 
    4. What are the CAPT. SHRIMP royalties?
     7.5%.
    5. Is there an advertising fee?
     Yes,  2.5%
    6. How much money can I expect to make?
     CAPT. SHRIMP does not make earnings claims for locations. The franchisees ability to manage the day-to-day operations, finances and other factors specific to each location will determine how much money one will make.
    7. What is the typical store size?
     1300 square feet.
    8. Does CAPT. SHRIMP help with site selection?
     CAPT. SHRIMP does work closely with several regional real estate brokers and will assist you in selecting your location. You are responsible for finding a location that meets the site criteria of CAPT. SHRIMP restaurant.
    9. How long will it take to open a CAPT. SHRIMP?
     Approximately 4 months from securing a lease.
    10. How will I learn to operate a CAPT. SHRIMP?
     A comprehensive training program provides you with everything you need to know from in store operations to business management.
    11. How do I receive my supplies?
     CAPT. SHRIMP has approved suppliers to support your inventory need.
    12. Do I need restaurant experience?
     No, CAPT. SHRIMP system is turnkey and easy to learn.
    13. What is my next step?

    10 Steps to Become a Captain

    1. Candidate completes Franchise Application and forwards it to CAPT SHRIMP INC.(CSI)
    2. Candidates for whom applications are approved will be assigned an Account Executive that will help them in all stages of franchise development. The Candidate will participate in a Phone Interview to discuss the benefits of owning a Capt Shrimp franchise.
    3. Upon successful completion of the Phone Interview,  CSI forwards a Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC) to candidate. The UFOC is a disclosure document that describes CSI franchise opportunity, including the franchisee's rights and obligations.
    4. Candidate signs the Acknowledgement of Receipt and returns a signed copy to CSI.
    5. Candidate reviews UFOC with business advisors.
    6. Candidate schedules an Experience (Discovery Day) at CAPT. SHRIMP Headquarters. During the Experience, the candidate will visit CAPT SHRIMP Cooper City location to meet key management personnel.
    7. CAPT. SHRIMP reviews candidate's vision statement and notifies candidate of results. The Management Team will vote whether or not to award franchise opportunity.
    8. If candidate is awarded franchise, the Franchise Agreement is signed and Initial Franchise Fee paid.
    9. The franchisee begins identifying and evaluating prospective locations and works with a CAPT. SHRIMP restaurant  coordinator to begin the restaurant start-up process.
